My ship is sinking

Time , moving faster and faster,
Light , decaying out into the dark,
Path , getting long and twisted day after day,
which it wasn't ,a time before.
Mere aim , not enough now,
mere will , not enough now.
The key is lost, which i believe for ever,
my ship is sinking and i am falling & falling & falling...

  1. You are pessimistic there are more ships for you to sail.Let this one go down."You have miles to go before you sleep".

  2. I may have miles to go, but not without my ship......I can't let my ship go down & it's not a pessimistic view of the poet..as you can see in that pic...the poet is in an introspective mood...he is looking within him for the missing key..The key if found can make his dear ship ,back on sea... conquering the dreams

  6. A SHIP IS SINKING

A ship is sinking in the middle of a wave,
For the mystery of the sea to embrace.
Spring is melting with the air fatal and brave,
As bright is the dream that poets need to chase.
O, my love for thee is the ship that sinks
As my sun and my moon to thee devoted are.
Thy tears can solve the enigma of the sphinx
Those waves of solitude are lost in thy star.
As King I lay down my crown and as Queen my fear,
Defeat I can not accept mine rests the fate.
Time's corruption travels much, yet is so near
For the naked, cold tree Spring may be too late.
Shall I forget thy eyes reflection on my void?
Above us stand the bridges no one destroyed.
